CURRIES is proud to announce a wider selection of operable STC (Sound Transmission Classification) doors to its product line. The CURRIES 757 Quiet Noise Door Series now offers an STC rating of 32-46 including an STC 41 option for paired openings. Utilizing new sound deadening technology into the CURRIES rugged door construction gives building owners flexibility in providing ever increasing requirements for STC openings. Education and Military requirements for sound doors has increased in the past few years. LEED for schools requires STC ratings on walls and openings for classroom and music rooms. CURRIES can supply both the doors and frames to meet the demanding requirements of any STC application. Every CURRIES Quiet Noise Door (757) is supplied with the required seals, threshold, and door bottoms (when required) to meet the STC label on the door. CURRIES Quiet Noise Doors do not require special frames. Standard CURRIES masonry and drywall frames backfilled with the proper sound deadening material will make the complete opening meet the STC rating.
